Hi, nice to e-meet you – I am excited that you are here.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little.
My name is Chante’, Mom of 3, wife of Paul, and dog mom of Ty. I love plants, traveling, all things wellness, non-toxic/sustainable products, healing food, self-love, and gardening. I am a homebody with a wanderlust soul. Which is what brought me here. As a natural “sharer” a blog just fits who I am.
My goal is to inspire you to live “imperfectly-conscious”. In all areas of life. To do the best you can, to be more conscious of all the things that you do and consume. Perfectionism is never the goal, but trying our best where we can and with what we have is a great thing to strive for.
Before my health rocked my world a bit, I was running around trying to do all the things not paying attention to the details and taking all the shortcuts. Then my body told me “enough”. I was having many different symptoms and the Dr’s at my PCP office couldn’t tell me what was going on. My gut told me to seek holistic care, so I did. Through my naturopathic Dr, I learned that my hormones were off-balanced and I had major vitamin deficiencies. As well as Hashimotos. Through food, taking toxins out of my life, focusing on self-care and other holistic remedies I was able to heal myself of Hashimoto’s and am now in remission (with the aid of my wonderful Dr of course!). Not to mention I feel so much better all around. More energy, more brain clarity, and most importantly more joy. Which I needed and wanted more of. Kind of like that moment when I see tacos in front of me, like more of those kinds of joyful moments. I want more of those – don’t you? I was too “busy” to appreciate those before I focused on my health. Now I crave them. I want to inspire more people to pause the busy and focus on their wellness and find more joy. To strive to be “imperfectly conscious” because those little things add up and you deserve it.
Recently, we sold our house, bought an RV, and hit the road at the end of August 2021. We are in the pursuit of adventure, clinging onto the fleeting years, and a homestead of our own. Where we will end up, only the future will tell. For now, we are going to ride the waves of life and grasp what years of our children’s lives are at our fingertips. Hopefully, we can inspire you to seek some adventure of your own.
Let’s be friends- do me a favor so that I know we are official. Subscribe to my email list here and follow me on Instagram @imperfectlyconscious_ here. Don’t forget to say hi, please! It would really mean a lot to me to have your support.
with love + health,
